The day is over, and it's time to sit back, relax and think about all the wonderful memories from the day; the jumps you hit, the air you caught, the inevitable wipeouts and sometimes, it's just about celebrating that you got to the bottom of the mountain. It's also never too early to think about your next trip to the mountains right?
So what's next for me? Overall, the MET program has been an amazing learning experience. Although it wasn't always easy, I am excited to take the knowledge and skills I have developed and pay them forward through my classroom and in collaboration with other educators in my community. As a lifelong learner, I will always continue to seek out opportunities for continued learning. I am excited to be starting a new job for the 2020-2021 academic school year where design and technology are weaved in to the curriculum. I am excited to get back into the classroom where I can begin to apply the knowledge I've gained throughout these course and really get back to doing what I love: making kids excited about learning, helping them to find their voices, challenging them and seeing them take action to try and make the world a better place. |
